Inauguration du nouveau site de tranbordement

Saint-Hyacinthe, le 16 novembre 2007 - JEFO a inauguré l'expansion des installations de Transbordement Saint-Hyacinthe Inc. (TSH Inc.). Ce nouveau centre de transbordement, situé près de la voie ferrée et de l'autoroute 20, permet d'entreposer un total de 16 000 tonnes de maïs dans de vastes silos horizontaux. En plus, TSH Inc. aura des silos pour les ingrédients simples que JEFO distribue au Canada dont (lysine, méthionine, oxyde de magnésium, levures, graisses Bypass pour les ruminants, etc.).

La construction permet le déchargement des trains soit à l'intérieur, sur la voie couverte ou à l'extérieur, à l'aide d'équipements spécialisés.

TSH Inc. ne s'implique aucunement dans le commerce des grains. Cette compagnie offre seulement des services logistiques de transbordement et d'entreposage au public.

Situé à St-Hyacinthe, au coeur du Québec et à la croisée des grands axes de transport, TSH Inc. est idéalement localisé pour vous offrir ses services et solutions économiques.

Saint-Hyacinthe, November 16 th 2007 - JEFO has launch their new transloading and grain warehousing facility in Saint-Hyacinthe, Saint-Hyacinthe Transload Inc. (TSH Inc.). This new rail transloading site has a total capacity of 16 000 tons of grain, in large horizontal silos. Specialty ingredients, distributed in Canada by JEFO, such as lysine, DL-methionine, magnesium oxide, yeast, rumen bypass fat, etc., will also be transloaded at this site.

With this new facility it is now possible to unload railcars inside the building for the best efficiency and hygiene. This state-of-the-art equipment guarantees the best service available.

TSH Inc. is not related to the grain and protein business. This company only offers transshipment and warehousing logistics.

Situated in Saint-Hyacinthe, in the heart and the crossroads of Quebec, TSH Inc. is ideally located to offer its economical solutions and services.

VIV India 2008 is the first VIV held in India.
Participation rate satisfactory. We achieved the purpose of getting to know the Indian market on preliminary over-all view of the market structure and expose JEFO's name as well products like Galliacid & Vicomb caught the most attentionfrom the Indian visitors.

This was JEFO's first participation to the World Dairy Expo. The producers, the feed consultants and the veterinarians showed great interest in Vicomb and Vicomb P+, our two innovative vitamin B supplements for dairy cows. We were in the center of the action, next to the show ring. See you there next year!

 C'était la première année de participation de JEFO au World Dairy Expo. Les producteurs, les conseillers en alimentation animale et les vétérinaires ont montré beaucoup d'intérêt pour le Vicomb et le Vicomb P+, nos deux suppléments de vitamines B innovateurs pour la vache laitière. Nous avions un très bel emplacement, tout près de l'aréna de présentation des animaux. On s'y revoit avec plaisir l'an prochain!

Del 25 al 28 de Septiembre pasados se llevo a cabo el Vigésimo Congreso Latinoamericano de Avicultura en Porto Alegre Brasil , evento que contó con mas de 2.000 participantes. JEFO Latinoamérica tuvo una activa participación, contando con un stand el cual fue numerosamente visitado por sus clientes y distribuidores. August 23rd : JEFO Nutrition achieves 25 years milestone
JEFO Nutrition Inc celebrated its 25 th Anniversary on August 23 rd 2007. More than 520 people from 19 countries attended this gala affair, which was held on the JEFO site.   Mr. Jean Fontaine, President and Founder of JEFO Nutrition Inc. welcomed everyone and spoke of the history and future direction of the company. Mr. Laurent Lessard, Quebec Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, and Mr. Michel St-Pierre Vice-Minister were in attendance as was the Deputy Governor of Parana State from Brazil, Mr. Pessuti.

Seeing Mr Fontaine on the day it is easy to see how his business has grown so quickly. He has such a positive demeanour and he shows such a great passion for his clients and beloved JEFO. He, along with Mr David Mair, VP Sales and Marketing, visited every table and thanked all for being in attendance and celebrating the 25 years with them.

In addition to honoring Jefo's contribution to Canadian and International agriculture, the event also honored the pioneers of   Modern Quebec Animal Nutrition. Minister Lessard present plaques to the families of Bernard Breton, Jean-Marie Brasseur, Jean-Marc Henri, Donald Brochu, Irénée Couture, Lucien Breton, Fulgence Ménard and   Roland Robitaille.

Jefo Nutrition Inc is a privately held company, with 100 employees and so far 47 distributors and partners worldwide.   Along with United Nutrients Corp, Jefo warehouses and distributes feed additives and nutrients to feed manufactures across Canada.   Jefo manufactures and distributes non-medicated feed additives such as Tetracid(TM), Galliacid(TM) and Vicomb(TM) in their state-of-the-art facility. Dr. Robert Gauthier, Research director states, " we are finding that we can reduce the use of medicinal agents in feed through the delivery of nutrients in the proper quantities and at the proper site of absorption. It is so exciting!" Jefo most recently built a liquid feed additive plant for the renowned products Salox 100(TM), Formula HP(TM), Vitoselen(TM). "At the rate liquid additives are growing, we will soon be out of capacity, and the plant is barely a year old" says Jean-Francois Fontaine, plant manager.

Jefo started in 1982 in the basement of the home of Mr. Jean Fontaine. The company now supports the feed industry through warehousing, trucking, transloading, distribution and innovation.   Jefo now has a presence in 5 continents exporting to 55 countries worldwide.

23 Août 2007 : JEFO célèbre 25 ans de Passion!
JEFO Nutrition Inc. a célébré son 25ième anniversaire le 23 août dernier sous le thème de 25 ans de Passion . Cet événement a réussi à regrouper plus de 520 personnes de l'industrie agroalimentaire, provenant de 19 pays, sur le site même de JEFO.

Le ministre de l'agriculture, des pêcheries et de l'alimentation du Québec, M. Laurent Lessard était sur place ainsi que le sous-ministre M. Michel St-Pierre. Pour souligner cet événement, le vice-gouverneur de l'état du Parana au Brésil, M. Orlando Pessuti, était aussi présent.  

M. Jean Fontaine, Président de JEFO Nutrition Inc. a commencé la soirée, en faisant une brève revue de l'histoire de l'entreprise et sur l'avenir de la compagnie, mais il a surtout souligné l'importance de la confiance et de l'appui de ses clients tout au long des 25 dernières années.

En plus de souligner la contribution de Jefo Nutrition Inc. à l'échelle québécoise et internationale, M. Jean Fontaine a tenu à honorer les pionniers de l'alimentation animale au Québec. Le ministre Lessard et M. Jean Fontaine ont remis des plaques honorifiques aux récipiendaires, soit   messieurs Jean-Marie Brasseur, Bernard Breton (à titre posthume), Lucien Breton, Donald Brochu, Irénée Couture, Jean-Marc Henri, Fulgence Ménard et Roland Robitaille, en insistant sur leur grande contribution et   leur passion pour l'agriculture québécoise.

JEFO Nutrition Inc. est une compagnie privée employant plus de 100 personnes, qui compte maintenant 47 distributeurs et partenaires à l'international. L'équipe compte 11 agronomes, 2 vétérinaires pour le soutien technique et le développement de nouveaux produits. L'entreprise investit une grande partie de ses profits dans la recherche et ne cesse d'innover, de développer et de commercialiser de nouveaux produits qui sont tous fabriqués à St-Hyacinthe, avant d'être distribués tant au Québec qu'à l'international. JEFO distribue des additifs alimentaires protégés pour l'alimentation animale, comme le Vicomb(TM) chez les vaches laitières, le Galliacid(TM) chez la volaille et le Tetracid(TM) chez les porcs.  

Le Dr Robert Gauthier, vice-président à la R&D, a mentionné que la technologie de microencapsulation que JEFO a contribué à développer permet de libérer dans l'intestin des animaux des nutriments en petite quantité et au bon endroit, contribuant ainsi à réduire l'utilisation des médicaments traditionnels.

Cette multinationale innove aussi avec une gamme de suppléments diététiques liquides fabriqués au Québec, comprenant par exemple le Salox(TM) et le Formule HP(TM) . En effet, JEFO a récemment construit une usine pour permettre une plus grande production de suppléments diététiques liquides, qui sont administrés dans l'eau d'abreuvage. «La demande de nos produits croit à une telle vitesse que nous devrons envisager d'accroître les heures de fabrication pour fournir à la demande, et l'usine n'a qu'un an!» - Jean-François Fontaine, directeur de la production.

Les autres services offerts par la compagnie sont multiples, comme un service d'entreposage personnalisé, des entrepôts réfrigérés, un service de transport et de transbordement, ainsi qu'un solide réseau de distribution au Canada et à l'international.

International Poultry Expo - United States of America - 01/24/2007
The International Poultry Expo is more than just the world's largest poultry trade show. Julio 5-7. Avicola y Porcicola 2006 - Argentina
Recientemente, JEFO Latinoamérica tuvo una participación activa en el ultimo Congreso Avícola y Porcicola 2006 llevado a cabo en Buenos Aires Argentina del 5 al 7 de Julio.
Dicho evento contó con 150 expositores nacionales e internacionales y se destaco la  alta concurrencia de publico que obtuvo.
Galliacid fue uno de los productos que mayor atención capto dada su eficacia como alternativa al uso de los antibióticos como promotores de crecimiento, esto igualmente relacionado con el considerable aumento de las exportaciones de la industria avícola Argentina.

Jean-Christophe Bodin, directeur technique de JEFO Europe

Dans le cadre de son développement sur la France, l'Espagne et le Portugal, l'équipe JEFO Europe s'est agrandie début Juillet avec l'arrivée de Jean -Christophe Bodin. Il y occupe une double fonction de directeur technique - avec notamment un lien très étroit avec l'équipe R & D du groupe JEFO International basée au Canada et pilotée par Robert Gauthier - et de chef produits volailles pour assurer le suivi et le développement des produits destinés à l'aviculture, parmis lesquels la Belfeed (xylanase d'origine bactérienne) et la gamme Galliacid. Jean-Christophe Bodin intégre l'équipe commerciale actuelle de JEFO Europe qui se compose de Léon Arnaud, en charge des produits de négoce; Jérôme Fouquet, chef produits porcs; Valérie Moisan, chef produits ruminants; Gilles Notin, chef de marché fongistatiques; et d'un responsable commercial sur l'Espagne. L'équipe est complétée par Mélanie Barroche et Bérengère Bossard.


 

La compagnie JEFO inaugure une nouvelle usine de production de produits diététiques liquides à St.-Hyacinthe, Québec.

Le mardi 20 juin 2006, monsieur Jean Fontaine, président et fondateur de JEFO Nutrition Inc., a procédé à l'inauguration d'une nouvelle usine de production de produits diététiques liquides, construite au coût de 2,6 millions de dollars.   Monsieur Michel St.-Pierre, sous-ministre au Ministère de l'Agriculture, Pêcheries et Alimentation du Québec, monsieur Claude Bernier, Maire de St.-Hyacinthe et monsieur Alain Rivard, Directeur Général de la Technopole Agro-Alimentaire de St.-Hyacinthe étaient également présents lors de la cérémonie qui a réuni plus de 300 spécialistes de la santé et de la nutrition animale dont plusieurs représentants d'amérique latine, d'asie ainsi que des États-Unis et de tout le Canada.

JEFO announces open house for new Liquid Dietetics plant in St. Hyacinthe, Quebec

JEFO Nutrition Inc founder and President, Mr. Jean Fontaine, announced a ribbon cutting ceremony for JEFO's new $2.6 million liquid dietetics plant on June 20, 2006.   The Quebec Deputy Minister of Agriculture Mr. Michel St-Pierre, The Mayor of St-Hyacinthe, Mr. Claude Bernier and Mr. Alain Rivard, General Manager of the St-Hyacinthe Agro-Food Technopolis were participating to this event as part of the 300 animal health and nutrition specialists. Several clients from Latinamerica, Asia, USA and whole Canada were present.

Jefo was there to support the efforts of our distributor Safeeds. The show was a total success for our specialty products that were promoted with much enthusiasim by the Safeeds sales team... Galliacid was the star of the show !

PIX Conference is a conference put on mainly for the Poultry industry in Australia. In association with the Australian Poultry Vet Association the conference lasts for 5 days.

Dr Gauthier addressed the Vet conference on the benefits of Microencapsulated Organic Acids.

 

JEFO Nutrition advertising campain:

JEFO invested in a 8 months advertising campain in international magazine (Feedstuffs, Watt Poultry USA, Poultry International, Industria Avicola, Canadian Poultryman, Feed International...). You will see our full page ads in each special poultry issue from April to December 2006.

 

El pasado 13 de Marzo se llevo acabo un seminario técnico dirigido al equipo de Alinat Argentina , cuyo tema central fue el uso de los ácidos orgánicos microenapsulados para uso en Avicultura - Galliacid y el uso de las proteasas purificadas - Poultrygrow.

El 14 del mismo mes en el Hotel Sheraton - Pilar , se efectúo una charla técnica encabezada por el Dr. Robert Gauthier , Director de investigación y desarrollo, la cual fue dirigida a clientes, productores y técnicos ; haciendo referencia al uso de los ácidos orgánicos microencpasulados - Gallliacid y las papel de las proteasas purificadas - Poultrygrow en la Avicultura.

Jefo Nutrition was present at the Official Launch of our Brazilan distributors : Safeeds which was held at the Hotel Olinda in Toledo, Brazil on March 3 rd , 2006. More then 50 participants were in attendance. At this event Dr. Robert Gauthier ( R& D Director of Jefo ) was an invited quest speaker giving a fine presentation our Protected Organic Acids ( Galliacid and Tetracid)

From September 2005 to January 2006, construction is underway for a new liquid plant. JEFO will extend its production capacity in St-Hyacinthe with this new plant to produce Liquid Dietetics. The adoption of liquids dietetics has been growing steadily in International markets, and this increased demand allows to open this 'state of the art' facility.
